Joel drafts and prosecutes patents and designs, and manages large patent portfolios of hundreds of patents in the U.S. and worldwide, in fields such as information systems, military inventions, mechanical inventions, electronic devices, hardware, software, encryption, wireless and cellular communication, online systems, Internet systems, and medical devices. Joel performs patent evaluation, patent validity analysis, patent infringement analysis, and freedom-to-operate analysis.
