Uri Eger is a partner in the firm's Corporate Group. Mr. Eger practices corporate and commercial law and represents entrepreneurs and companies across a broad range of industries and in all stages of business growth. His practice focuses on general corporate and complex transactional matters, including venture capital transactions, commercial transactions, and financing.
Mr. Eger has developed particular expertise working with companies in the fields of FoodTech, culinary innovation, and restaurant services. He is a trusted legal and strategic advisor to a number of high-profile celebrity chefs in Israel in their domestic and international business affairs. His clients include Chef Assaf Granit, Chef Uri Navon and co-owned “Machneyuda” Group, Chef Yossi Shitrit, Chef Moshik Roth, Chef Tomer Agay, Chef Raz Rahav, and many others.
In addition, Mr. Eger has considerable experience assisting various food and beverage companies in general corporate matters, financing transactions as well as in the structuring of retail chains and franchising. He also represents agricultural cooperative companies in their various business activities and transactions across Israel and Europe.
- Advised Chef Assaf Granit, Chef Uri Navon and co-owned “Machneyuda” Group on the establishment and management of restaurant projects and culinary ventures in Israel, London, and Paris. Advised on catering arrangements for a number of leading technology companies in Israel, including Wix, Lightriks, and Rapyd.
- Advised Chef Yossi Shitrit on the opening and operation of his marquee Tel-Aviv restaurant HIBA and other culinary ventures.
- Advised Chef Moshik Roth on the establishment of culinary ventures, events, and catering services for a number of hi-tech companies, including Amdocs, and many others.
- Advised Mishkey Netter Limited Partnership, entrepreneurship hub for Ag-Tech, Food-Tech, Clean-Tech companies. Advised Mishkey Hanegev and Mishkey Hadarom on a $5 million fundraise.
- Representation of Lemna Tech, a leading intelligence Food-Tech startup, in equity financing and general corporate matters.
- Advised Headstart in financing and establishing Freshpaint - the annual art and design event.
- Advise Negev Produce, an international and domestic exporter of fresh agricultural goods on general corporate matters.
- Advised Yoran, a leading Industrial inline thermal imaging AI & big data company on a $2.5 million Series A financing round and its general corporate work.
- Represented Minene and its shareholders in the sale of the company's shares to Shilav, a subsidiary of TASE-listed Fox-Wizel.
